This piece is my personal reimagining of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus. In this version, the Goddess of Love isn't just arriving; she is resting on the shores of Cyprus, tucked away in a sanctuary of seashells and flowers. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea that we exist within nested dreams of a greater mind.

As you look closer, you’ll see jellyfish drifting through the sky—a whimsical transparent stroke of sea and air. It asks the question: Is Venus dreaming of them, or are they dreaming of her?

I chose to print this on a premium cotton-polyester canvas to ensure the colors stay as vibrant as they felt in my imagination.
